All our pumpkins are turning orange (or white, in the case of the Lumina Whites) and their shells are gradually hardening. It seems as though Summer was barely getting started and now there is a coolness in the morning air when I trudge out to free the chickens from their night’s sleep in the henhouse. Fall is definitely peeking around from behind Summer’s blousy skirt, and while it makes us a tad sad, there is so much to do around Raggedy Hen Farm, we don’t have much time to lament!
