Pretty Persimmons

Pretty Persimmons

The leaves are starting to fall from our persimmon tree, which means we can better see the little, plump fruits ripening. The persimmon tree is the last tree in our mini-orchard to get its leaves and the first to drop! While the chickens devour these when they hit the ground, we are waiting for them to get a dark orange and waiting until after the weather gets good and frosty since this is when persimmons are truly ripe and tasty!
