First Day of Spring!

Spring holds a promise…it is not a promise of perfection or completion. It is a promise of continuation. The air hangs heavy with thoughts of the inevitable future: when the rains stop, when the weather gets warmer, when school’s out, when vacation comes. One’s whole spirit feels as if it has been shaken out on a sunny day and draped on the line to flutter in the breeze.

For those of us growing food and crafting gardens–spring also means putting our winter plans to practice! We know there is only so much we can do for our part and then Nature does the rest (whatever that may end up being.) But, we must do our part and we must do it now!

Happy, Happy Spring!
